We do this by…

1. carrying primarily water-wise plants that are best suited to thrive in our hot/dry Sacramento climate. 
2. choosing to landscape the nursery with decomposed granite instead of pavement to allow water to be absorbed back into the water table *yes, this means it gets dusty, but to us it’s worth it*.
3. practicing integrated pest-management and only using organic insect control and organic fertilizers.
4. offering recycling and refilling programs for select products to minimize waste of plastic and glass containers.

The Secret Garden offers a wide range of products from all over the globe. With that said, we make a conscious effort to showcase products that are made in the USA whenever possible. From windchimes to fountains, plant picks to candles; we're happy to introduce you to quality products made in the USA, in California, and often right here in Sacramento.
